January 2022 DACBSP® Practical Exams
Initial & Retake(s) Registration 

*All participants, examiners and examinees are required to be
vaccinated by the date of the exam or have a negative
PCR test within 72 hours of arriving at the exam site.
 Proof of vaccine OR of negative PCR test must
be submitted to the national office.*

Please complete this online form to begin the application process for the January 7 - 8, 2022 DACBSP® practical exams, retakes and inital exams. Please know your application package is NOT complete UNTIL the national office receives the following documents:

  • your transcript, that qualifies you to take the exam 
  • copy of your DC license - valid through the exam date, June 26, 2021
  • copy of your healthcare provider level CPR card - valid through the exam date, June 26, 2021
  • Signed certificant and candidate release form (this will be emailed via Adobe Sign after you register for the exam)
  • Signed ACBSP™ COVID Waiver (this will be emailed after you register for the exam) 

All documents must be received by the exam application deadline, Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

If you are paying via check, the check must be received by the national office prior to the application deadline date. The application deadline is Wednesday, December 15, 2021.  All application documentation MUST be received by the national office by the deadline, no exceptions.  If the national office has not received your exam application documentation by the application deadline, you will NOT be permitted to take the exam.

Those using an MS degree as eligibility to sit for the exam, please know your transcripts will be sent to a review committee to ensure they meet the requirements to sit for the exam. 

All candidates must have completed a post-graduate level hands-on emergency procedures course as part of their program or in addition to their program. Candidates with a current and valid EMT certification may use this certification in lieu of completing the Emergency Procedures course requirement.  Candidates must provide proof of current and valid EMT certification to meet this requirement.

**HOTEL INFORMATION:

The ACBSP™ secured a group rate at the Lumen Hotel again.  It is located across the street from the practical exam location.  The group rate is $159 per night + tax.  Their normal rate is $259 per night + tax.

The pre-loaded dates are from January 6 - 9, 2022, however if you would like to arrive early or stay longer you can go to the calendar on the booking site and edit accordingly.

 

***Exam schedule:
With the exception of station retakes, exams will be
scheduled based on the order in which you register.  

Please note the number of retake exam slots and the
number of intial exam slots are limited.
