Groomed by early tap stars, tap dance artist, Josh Hilberman has shared the stage with Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Jimmy Slyde, Brenda Buffalino and most every tap dancer of note.

Longtime artistic collaborators include mentors Buffalino and tap pianis tPaul Arslanian. Together with dancer/producer Drika Overton and the German duo Tap and Trey, Josh has been creating and performing original ensemble and solo theatrical productions for over 20 years.

Josh has taught at hundreds of workshops and tap festivalsaround the world including New York, Chicago,Vancouver, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Berlin and Barcelona. His deep understanding of tap dance in performance combined with healthy sense of humor make him a fun, patient and enlightening instructor.

Hilberman's contributions to the evolution of tap dance received mention in the 2010 book Tap Dance America. He was also awarded the Premi Claqueta in Barcelona, Spain for his significant contributions to the tap community.
