Outdoor Exhibition Dates: March 2018 - February 2019

Eligibility:
The Downeast National Juried Sculpture Exhibition is located in Pitt County, North Carolina. The exhibition has two components: a month long indoor exhibition and a year long outdoor exhibition. The Downeast Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition is a joint exhibition among Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, ECU Student Activities Board, City of Greenville, Town of Winterville, Town of Farmville, and the Greenville Museum of Art.

Juror:
Hank T. Foreman has lectured for numerous organizations including the National Art Education Association (NAEA) and the International Sculpture Center. In 2010 Foreman was selected as a cohort for the National Alliance of Media Arts + Culture Leadership Institute for Visual Arts Organizations funded by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. In May 2014, Foreman was a lead contributor for an art education conference held at the School for Pedagogy and the Fine Arts in Kalisz, Poland – a part of Adam Mickiewicz University. For this program, Foreman lectured at the conference, co-designed a mural, and was selected as the cities’ artist in residence for the 100th anniversary of rebuilding after the destruction of World War I. During his residency he installed a three-story site-specific installation titled The White Dream of Kalisz.

Deadline & Entry Fees:
Each artist may submit up to 3 entries (indoor and outdoor combined) for the total of $15. Additional entries cost $5 per entry with a limit of 6 total entries. Checks should be payable to "Emerge Gallery". All entries must be submitted digitally and received by Sat. January 20, 2018. Images of work may be submitted as jpgs on a CD, flash drive or emailed to info@pittcountyarts.org. Payment and registration submitted online at www.pittcountyarts.org or mailed or delivered to:
