Listed below are our 2017 Summer Camps for the week of July 10 - 14:

MINI MASTERS' CAMPS  Ages 3 to 5 

Morning Camp   
Move and Groove: Create and Star in a Group Music Video    9am until 12noon         

A mix of film, visual arts, music, and theatre for the little ones. It is time to rock and get the wiggles out here at Emerge! Children will create costumme props and backdrop decorations. Participants will also create video covers and rock start posters to accompany their films. All participants will recieve a copy of their film within two weeks of camp.

Ages: 3 to 5 (must be potty trained)    
Cost:  $85 for emerge members, $125 for emerge non-members

EMERGING ARTIST CAMPS   Ages 6 to 10

Morning Camp
Photo-tastic  9am until 12noon

Campers will learn the basic of photography in this fast paced fun camp. Participants will experience photography in a whole new way through alternative photography including cyanotype t-shirts, mixed media utilizing photography by assembling multiple images and materials. Campers will learn photography processes, some with, and some without cameras. No special equipment is needed for this camp. emerge will supply point-and-shoot cameras for projects that require them.

Ages: 6 to 10

Afternoon Camp
Give it a Spin: Wheel Throwing Camp    1pm until 4pm 

Wheel throwing, handbuilding and sculpture - Let your kids get their hands dirty this summer and have a great time doing it! Participants in this awesome camp will work on coil, slab, and molding ceramic techniques, as well as spend time working on the wheel.

Ages: 6 to 10    
Cost:  $85 for emerge members, $125 for emerge non-members

All Day Camp
Emerging Artists' Camp 
9am until 4pm 

Sign up your child for both the morning camp, “Photo-tastic” and the afternoon camp “Give it a Spin,” with this all day option. Lunch bunch is included in all day camp packages. Please be sure to pack a bagged lunch for your child.

Ages: 6 to 10

ADVANCED ART CAMPS FOR YOUTH   Ages 11 & Up

Morning Camp
Reinventing the Wheel  9am until 12noon

Review basic wheel throwing techniques, and explore how to make shapes other than the typical round forms made on the potter's wheel. Create ovals, squares, and fun funky shapes! Experiment with stacking, stretching, and cutting wheel thrown forms to create your own crazy ad interesting objects.
