A UNIQUE COLLABORATIVE EFFORT of ALL FUEL CELL TECHNOLOGIES REPRESENTED AT ONE EVENT!
The Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition, in collaboration with the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY'S FUEL CELL TECHNOLOGIES OFFICE AND FOSSIL ENERGY, present a joint workshop, "Partners in Progress", on Fuel Cell Systems Balance of Plant (BOP) Components. The goal of this workshop is to identify integrator and development needs of BOP fuel cell systems for both Stationary and Transportation applications. We will also explore gaps in the supply chain to fulfill those needs, as well as providing common ground for manufacturing that would benefit all fuel cell applications.
We are excited this year to have all fuel cell technologies represented throughout the Workshop.
MARCH 30TH
The Symposium will begin with the Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition's Board of Directors and Members Only meetings (closed) from 10:00 am - 2:30 p.m.
A Supply Chain Exchange will be held from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm. This unique opportunity is the most efficient and effective way to meet with suppliers and integrators, all in one place, at one time, and one-on-one. (Participation is by invitation, so let us know your interest by checking the appropriate box on the registration form.)
A Networking Reception from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm will be for all Symposium attendees in conjunction with the Exhibit Hall Unveiling.
MARCH 31ST
After Welcome and Remarks by Dr. Sunita Satyapal, Director of the U.S. Dept. of Energy's Fuel Cell Technology Office, Dr. Marcia Ballinger, President of Lorain County Community College, and Pat Valente, Executive Director of the Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition, we will explore integrator needs and supply chain gaps through the following panels:
Panel 1 - Non-hydrogen fuel cell integrators for stationary power will give an overview of their business and discuss balance of plant supply chain needs. Invited panelists include LG Fuel Cell Systems, FuelCell Energy, Doosan, Technology Management Inc., and Redox Power Systems.
Panel 2 - PEM fuel cell integrators will give an overview of their companies and discuss balance of plant supply chain needs. Invited panelists include Plug Power, Ballard, H2 PowerTech, and BePower Tech.
Panel 3 - Feedback from key supply chain participants. Invited panelists include Johnson Matthey, Saint-Gobain Innovative Materials, AVL, VAIREX.
There will also be remarks from the invited legislative offices of Rep. Marcy Kaptur and Sen. Sherrod Brown, the U.S. Dept. of Energy's Fossil Energy Office, Battelle on Cost Analysis/Reduction, NASA-Glenn, Veterans Outreach - both federal and local, and Economic Development with JobsOhio.
