WTS-GNY Young Professionals Volunteer Event 

Join WTS Young Professionals for its inaugural volunteer event. In keeping with a transportation theme, we'll be turning wrenches at the Newark Boys and Girls Club Bike Exchange. No experience is needed-- just a willingness to learn! After volunteering for a few hours, we'll head over to Taste Venue for happy hour drinks at 4:30.

Event registration includes a t-shirt (cute, women's cut!). You can either meet us at the Bike Exchange at 1:30 p.m. or walk over from Newark Penn Station with a group. If you choose to walk with the group, we'll meet  in the Newark Penn Station waiting room near the information kiosk and head over to the Bike Exchange (a 10-minute walk) at 1:15 p.m. Wear or bring along close-toed shoes and clothing you're not afraid of getting a little dirty. We'll volunteer until 4 p.m. and then walk over to Taste Venue for happy hour drinks (cash bar).  Taste Venue is an easy, 5-minute walk from Newark Penn Station, so if you can't make it for volunteering, join us for  the happy hour drinks until 6 p.m. A waiver for the Bike Exchange will need to be filed, which we'll do the day-of.
