East Bank Re-Animation Challenge / Musician Registration 

East Bank Bi-Monthly Music Challenges continue with the East Bank Re-Animation Challenge!

Musician Information

  1. The sign-up dates to perform in the East Bank Re-Animation Challenge begin March 16th and end on April 19th at 11:59pm. No more than 15 bands will be allowed entry to the challenge.
  2. Admission for performing is free. All bands and musicians must fill out the information below providing their mandatory tax I.D. (or social), project title, genre, number of members, and contact information.
  3. All content performed must be in the form of an original cover of an animated theme song (video game, animated series, or animated film). The content performed cannot be an exact replication of the theme songs chosen.
  4. All bands and artists must perform two cover songs which must not exceed five minutes in length per song.
  5. The songs performed must not contain profane, racist, sexist, or any other form of offensive content.
  6. Failure to comply with our rules and regulations will result in the unplugging of your set and may affect future bookings in the East Bank District.
  7. Project members must be timely and present for sound checking and for their performance. This will be a fast-paced event.
  8. The winning band will receive a cash prize, and the announcement for the winner will be at 9pm.
  9. Bands that make it into the lineup will be notified via email on the date of the announcement: April 19th.
  10. The most important rule: Have fun and create some memories with this challenge. Grow as a project and tap into something new if possible. We are rooting for all of you!


Costume Rules

  • All who wish to come in costume must keep their attire in a PG spectrum. There may be families or young children at this event.
  • All weapon props must be toys or non-active props. No real weapons will be permitted in the East Bank District & Plaza.
  • No drones, balloons, or other airborne objects are allowed in the East Bank District & Plaza unless otherwise authorized.
  • All toy weapons must be non-functional. There cannot be any potential for harm or breaching of safety to the event or anyone involved. If the weapon is a gun-type object, the tip must be clearly orange and not loaded.
  • No flames, pyro, or smoke related materials or objects will be allowed in the East Bank District & Plaza.
  • Attendees must ask before photographing anyone in costume.
  • Footwear must be worn at all times.
  • No liquor allowed in the East Bank District & Plaza unless provided by a food truck, vendor, or East Bank Business. Any liquor provided must be in a to-go cup labeled by that business.
  • If you plan to dress as military, law enforcement, or any other form of authority, make sure you are obviously in costume as not to confuse any hired officers or attending authorities.
  • All attendees and participants must be respectful of each other. No harassment, hate speech, or any other form of misconduct will be tolerated.
  • No hate symbols of any form allowed.
  • If any rules are broken, you will be asked to leave the event. All rules are subject to change at any time.
  • The winners of the costume challenge, music challenge, and any vendors involved in the event must comply with our rules and regulations.
  • No family or kin of employed judges can be allowed in the costume contest, as to prevent any conflict of interest.
  • This is a free event provided by a non-profit organization. No bribes or un-authorized payments will be exchanged between staff and participants or attendees.
