2015 FAWQC Golf Tournament 

FAWQC is pleased to announce that our annual golf tournament will be held again at the Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, Florida on April 17, 2015.  Join us for a great day of golf to raise money for FAWQC’s Environmental Education (E2) Endowment Fund. Last year, FAWQC gave over $10,000 in grants to schools to fund science education. In fact, FAWQC has given over $50,000 in grants to Florida schools.

This Robert Trent Jones (Senior and Junior) course is challenging for the hardcore golfer and fun for the occasional golfer. Registration will open at 8 a.m.  The shotgun start will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Registration fees are $150 for a single golfer and $125 for each golfer if you register a foursome.  In addition to the round of golf, each paid registrant will be registered in the Hole in One Challenge, and will receive 2 drink tickets, a goody bag containing snacks, a golf towel, $10 off Golfsmith Gift Card on purchases over $30 or more, a free golf club certificate for a Razor wedge, a free golf club certificate for a Warrior 19 degree hybrid club or 60 degree lob wedge, a $10 Celebration Pro Shop Discount coupon, and lunch at the awards luncheon immediately following the tournament.  

The Hole in One Challenge will be played on 4 holes with prizes consisting of a $750 Visa gift card, an Apple iPad, a set of Callaway Irons and Woods, and the grand prize of an ATV donated by Pinellas Power Sports.  We will also be raffling off a chance to win a Cooler of Cheer at the awards lunch immediately following the tournament.  If you purchase a Cooler of Cheer raffle ticket you will be automatically registered in the putting challenge raffle that will give a single golfer a chance to win a cash prize of $2,500.  Other raffle prizes include rounds of golf at 7 different courses.
