Airbnb: Game Changer for Short-Term Rentals
Airbnb and other home-sharing businesses are a real game changer for commercial real estate, especially impacting the multifamily and hotel sectors.  Join us March 14 as a panel of experts address three perspectives on this timely subject.

Moderator Aziz Khatri, CCIM, Director at KW Commercial and Treasurer of NCalCCIM.

Jaja Jackson, Head of Landlord Partnerships at Airbnb, will share some of the conclusions that investors and asset and property managers are reaching about the sharing economy, and some of the innovative ways that certain landlords are moving home sharing from operational threat, to collaborative partnership, and even competitive advantage. Jaja has 13 years of experience as president of Property Management for Emerald Fund's luxury apartment portfolio in San Francisco.

Jill Broadhurst is Executive Director of the East Bay Rental Housing Association which provides education and advocacy to owners and managers of rental properties.  Prior to her current position, she was the association’s Community Affairs and Advocacy Director.

Dhruv Patel is Vice President of Operations and Development for Ridgemont Hospitality where he oversees all aspects of operations. The company currently has four hotels open in the Bay Area and three more in various stages of development.

Following the presentations, the panel will be available for an extended Q&A session.
