The evening will be dedicated to the legacy of Trustee Emeritus Marilyn Sweeney, RN. VIM’s volunteer Orthopedic Consultant, Lawrence J. Naame will be honored as Physician of the Year and the Avalon Lions Club will be honored as Community Partner for 2019. Dr. Naame, Marilyn Sweeney and the Avalon Lions are shining examples of neighbors caring for neighbors.

Since it began 18 years ago, VIM has cared for more than 6,000 patients with more than 44,000 patient visits. VIM relies completely on the generosity of the community to continue to serve the working uninsured and others who cannot afford access to healthcare.

 VIM’s needs are great, but so are the hearts of our friends in Atlantic and Cape May County. This Annual Celebration is a wonderful opportunity to support our neighbors in need and provide the gift of healthcare.
