Zada Cooper Leadership Symposium 

Description:
Great leaders inspire greatness in others! University of Iowa College of Pharmacy alumni, faculty, and colleagues share what it means to be a leader, and the importance of forging mentor relationships, at school, work, home, and in your community.

The UI College of Pharmacy encourages all leaders to attend this free event! 

Event Agenda:
The event will begin with a continental breakfast and check-in at 8:00am, followed by a program at 8:30am. The program will include a keynote speaker, discussion of the importance of mentorship in leadership development, panel discussion on mentorship, and closing speaker.

About Zada Cooper:
Zada Mary Cooper (1875–1961) graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 1897, and continued as a faculty member until retiring in 1942. She was secretary of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy from 1922 to 1942, and was one of the founders of the Women’s Section of APhA and founder of Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and the Rho Chi Society. She was an advocate of women in pharmacy and became known as the “grand and glorious lady of pharmacy.”
