Suren Shrestha gives workshops and assists clients with healing bowl work all over the United States. He is raising funds through his teachings to build the Aama Orphanage School for children in his native village and is donating all proceeds from the sale of his book to the project. He lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and daughter.
The Aama Orphanage Education Foundation (AOEF) is a not-for-profit and non-government registered community-based organization in Nepal. With the assistance of Ruby and Suren Shrestha, it was established in 2007 by the residents of Khandbari Bazaar to address low literacy rates among orphan children of Eastern Nepal, giving priority to girls.
To help fund AOEF, Suren
donates all profits from the sale of his book "Learn to Heal with Singing Bowls", as well as a large percentage of the proceeds from his healing workshops.
Through a number of programs, AOEF aims to assist the children of Nepal, improve their educational outcomes and become confident and self-sufficient members of their community.
