PARENTING TWEENS AND TEENS IN THE DIGITAL WORLD
The Internet and new technologies have become central to children's lives. While these technologies offer a variety of benefits (ranging from social connections to education and entertainment), they also come with risks that increase a child's vulnerability toward exploitation. Recognizing that many parents are feeling overwhelmed trying to keep their children safe in today's digital world, Canadian Centre for Child Protection has created educational materials for parents, educators and children designed to provide information about how to keep children safe.
Please join us as Jennifer Freeman speaks about about how the Canadian Centre for Child Protection is committed to providing the public with current and age-appropriate information and resources to help educate Canadians about how to keep children safe both online and in the real world.
Date: Monday, February 9
Time: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
