Elections Information Session

Come to the KCA Elections Information Session on Monday, September 28 at 7pm to learn more about available positions on the KCA Board of Trustees and other committees.

Kentlands is a beautiful and pleasant place because volunteers do a lot of hard work to make it so. We would not have the wide variety of fun things to do without the Activities Committee. The Kentlands Historical Trust guides us all as we make decisions that affect the appearance of our neighborhood. The Board of Code Compliance does the thankless job of reminding folks about maintenance and other appearance requirements.

The Board of Trustees is our official governing body. The five members do a lot of hard work to understand issues and resolve them, set budgets and meet them, and define necessary revenues and collect them. 

All of those jobs involve hard work and responsibility, albeit some, such as the Welcoming Committee, tend to demand attending fun social gatherings while others, such as the Board of Trustees, require making the hard choices that are central to governing.

We have a continuing need for volunteers so please consider offering your “blood, toil, tears, and sweat” to help keep Kentlands great and make it better by serving on one of our many committees.
