When people communicate, 55% of what they say is through their body language.  But often times the professionals are too busy talking about the facts at the mediation table and don’t know what their looking at or what shifts in behavior might really mean.  As my early mentor in mediation often said, “Comment on what you observe.”

This module takes participants through some fundamental human behaviors (internally and externally) and what those behaviors tend to mean universally.  Yes, I said “Universally” – people are people world-wide and FOUR basic strategies work time and time again.

Uncovering the Art and Science of Asking Powerful Open-ended Questions to Achieve Breakthrough

Asking open-ended questions in a structured yet agile way will help you get to the bottom of what drives your client’s position very quickly and every time.  Every legal case is based on the facts of what’s happened (or not).  but if we don’t equip ourselves with the skills to read and understand the emotional drivers, success and resolution will remain both evasive and costly to our reputation and the bottom-line.
