CPD with a difference…. cycling in Mallorca? Cycling and CPD with experts speaking on topics relevant to oral surgery

Cost of trip summary:

• £450pp based on twin share
• £550pp single occupancy
• £350pp non-cycling delegate (twin share)
• £450pp non-cycling single occupancy

 

Payment schedule:

• £150 non-refundable deposit by 3 November 2019 to secure your place
• Balance to be paid by 4 March 2020

Mallorca Cycling will offer free airport transfers to the hotel. However, they want to make sure the transfer minibus is efficiently utilised and will set times for morning and afternoon transfers. The timing of transfers will be finalised once we know which airports delegates are flying from. We will suggest which flights to book so that waiting in Palma airport is minimised.

If you are unable to arrive for these transfers alternative transfer arrangements can be made but may incur additional cost to you.

Mallorca Cycling can accommodate your own bike on the transfer from the airport to the hotel if you are bringing it out but they need to know in advance. There is no additional cost for this.

Mallorca Cycling recommend that you book cycle hire with either https://www.procyclehire.com or  https://www.pinarelloexperience.com. You will receive a code to get a 10% discount on bookings with pinarello experience.

 

Additional information

Below are examples of how the different groups can be divided:

• Green group, relaxed pace with a couple of coffee stops. Not out all day so you can enjoy the pool/sea and delights of Puerto Pollenca in the afternoon. Distance around 40-50km average speed 12/13mph. (E-bikes are an option for this group only)
• Amber group, longer rides at a steady pace, for riders who enjoy a good day out in the saddle covering 100km at a consisant pace of 15-17mph. Ideally have some experience of pack riding (not essential) and are able to tackle some climbs. 
• Red group, quicker rides at a higher tempo and have ridden in pack before. Able to sustain long days in the saddle. Riding distance will be approx 120-130km at an average speed of 18mph. 

 

 

What’s included in the package?

4 nights half board in 4* hotel twin share room, airport transfer to hotel, guided cycling with Mallorca Cycling, CPD lectures and certificate of attendance, discount code for bike hire.

What’s not included?

Flights, lunch, bike hire.
