Provide an overview of the fundamentals of intentional interim ministry to: emphasize the importance of this specialized ministry; enable the participants to discern the applicability of this ministry to their giftedness; encourage more formal training for those so called.
SOURCE: The primary source of information used in this training event is based upon the extensive research and training of the Interim Ministry Network, an ecumenical training resource dedicated to the training of religious leaders serving in times of transition.
CONTENT: Review of the five "process" tasks (and other administrative matters) which are the primary responsibility of the interim minister, and the five "developmental" tasks which are "owned" by the congregation but facilitated by the interim minister
FORMAT: Brief presentations, individual and small group exercises, and a time of Q & A
COST: $50, includes all materials, snacks and .6 CEUs. Participants are on their own for lunch.
