Dr.Saito is board certified in preventive medicine with specialty training in occupational and environmental medicine. He is a certified Medical Review Officer for drug testing, a certified FMCSA Medical Examiner, and a certified FAA Medical Examiner
Raymond Hicks, MD, MPH, MSc – Dr. Hicks is staff physician at Workplace Health board certified in occupational and environmental medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Hicks is a certified Medical Review Officer for drug testing and a certified FMCSA Medical Examiner. Dr.Hicks is our primary faculty member for the NIOSH Initial Spirometry Course.

Daniel C. Doornbos, MD, FCCP - Dr. Doornbos is currently the MaineGeneral Medical Center Medical Director of Respiratory Care; President of Medical Staff; and Ex Officio member, MGMC Board of Directors. Dr.Doornbos holds the following board certifications: American Board of Medical Specialties: Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine.
Richard Gurney, MA - Workplace Health Clinical Support Coordinator. Richard serves as trainer for drug test collectors and breath alcohol technicians. He is NIOSH certified in spirometry and is our spirometry course coordinator.

This National Institute for Occupational Safey and Health (NIOSH)-approved course is designed to provide a comprehensive theoretical framework combined with practical training necessary to conduct spirometry testing & screening for workers.
Intended Audience - This course is intended for nurses, medical assistants, & other health care professionals responsible for conducting spirometry in the workplace or clinic settings.
If possible bring your spirometer.
