Is your puppy or adult dog looking for a new sport, but you are not sure if you and your dog are ready for formal training? Are you frustrated with your dog in (or out) of class mugging you for food, sniffing, running off with a toy or to visit with the other dogs in the class? Learn how to get your dog to focus and how to let your dog make the right decisions.
Fundamental Sport Foundations teaches invaluable skills for whatever sport you may want to try. This class covers Recalls, Retrieves, Obstacle Discrimination, Sit Stays, Ignoring distractions and Motion Cues. The class is founded on the principles of Mary Ellen Barry's DVD set Foundation Fundamentals.
This class is recommended for continuing classes in agility, Treibball and dock diving.
Dogs must be 6 months of age to attend, it is strongly encouraged that all performance sport dogs attend at least one session regardless of experence or age. Please bring lots of small soft treats, several interactive toys (but not a ball) and a very hungry dog to each class. Please bring a crate for your dog's downtime while you are learning.
Classes will be six weeks; 3/14, 3/21, 3/27, 4/4, 4/11, 4/18 Cost $150
