Latinx Early Arrival Program
On behalf of the Student Life Multicultural Center (MCC) and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), I would like to welcome you to The Ohio State University Latinx Community. My name is Indra Leyva, and I am an Intercultural Specialist at the MCC and the main coordinator of the Latinx Early Arrival Program.
I encourage you to take advantage of the Latinx Early Arrival Program that our offices organizes for incoming, first-year Latinx students. This program will give you an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, current students, and other first-year Latinx, all of these while learning strategies to increase your level of academic success and building strong networks for your future at The Ohio State University. If you are living on campus, you will have the opportunity to move in to your residence hall before the official move-in day (for no cost). The program is scheduled August 15-19, which is the week before the beginning of autumn classes.
