The University-wide Council of Hispanic Organizations, The Student Life Multicultural Center, The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and L.A.S.E.R. at The Ohio State University host the 3rd Annual Latino Buckeye Dinner.
This year's Latino Buckeye Dinner marks the time that scholarships will be awarded to deserving Latino students at The Ohio State University. The Leon de Carril and Moreno Scholarship and the Stubner Scholarship commemorate the determination, excellence, and perseverance necessary to earn one's college degree. These three individuals represent the first male and female Latin American graduates of The Ohio State University.
We created this scholarship to support Latino students' academic growth and to create awareness about the contributions of Latino students to Ohio State. We ask and challenge you to be a part of this great effort.
We are asking you to make a small contribution to the Scholarship fund in the following ways:
Become a Table Sponsor: Purchase 10 seats for either your faculty, staff or students. Your contribution will be acknowledged at the event table and program. $250.00 per table.
Become an Individual Sponsor: Purchase an individual seat for $25.00 and make a difference in a student's life next year.
Dinner Free for students
This year's keynote speaker is: Junot Diaz, Pulitzer Prize Winner.
Semi-formal attire is highly recommended.
