America's Service Commissions Leadership Convening 

America's Service Commissions is pleased to convene state service commission leaders on February 13-14 at the Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria.

Travel Suggestions
The Convening is scheduled for two full days on February 13-14. In addition, we hope all commissions will stay to participate in the ASC Hill Day on Thursday, February 15. CNCS is inviting commissions to participate in the afternoon presentations of their Research Grantee Meeting on Monday, February 12. If you would like to participate you should arrive in time to be at CNCS by 1:00 p.m. See below for a full schedule of events the week of February 12.

For the ASC Leadership Convening we recommend arriving no later than 9:00 a.m. the morning of February 13 and leaving after your Hill visits are complete on Thursday, February 15.

ASC Afterschool Program Development Grantees will participate in the Afterschool Convening on February 15 (separate registration information will be emailed). For ASC Board Members there will be a Board meeting on Friday, February 16. 

Registration
Please complete registration by January 26.  If you are unable to register by January 26, but plan to attend please contact Rachel Bruns.

The event fee is $175 per person, which covers the cost of event space and meals. This convening is an acceptable expense for a commission's administrative support grant or commission investment fund. Payment can be made by credit card via PayPal or check. By selecting "Pay by check" you will be sent an invoice prior to the event. By selecting "Pay by PayPal" you will be able to pay by credit card. Lodging
A room block is available for attendees at the event venue, the Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria at the rate of $139/night plus tax. Reservations must be made by January 19. Included is complementary breakfast for one individual per room and parking for $11.
