Citizen Storytellers Workshop

Storytelling, storytelling, storytelling!  Everyone is talking about the power of storytelling as a hot engagement strategy, and for good reason.  Effective stories have been proven to drive deep emotional connections and action among targeted audiences of all sorts from teachers, students to policy makers.  In fact, some source cite storytelling as the number one business skill of the next five years.

This full-day, participatory (and we promise, fun!) workshop will bring to life storytelling research conducted by Professor John D. Trybus of Georgetown University in an applied way for the betterment of your school.

In the workshop, you will practice new ways to tell more strategic action-driven stories, plan for future storytelling change spaces, and create an action plan for how to activate your natural "citizen storytellers."

Get ready to roll-up your sleeves to practice storytelling while also being challenged and inspired to think of storytelling in an entirely new way.

Lunch will be provided.  Professional development hours will be provided through STIPD.
