The PNWUMC Volunteers in Mission team is hosting the First Annual Early Response Team “Spring Training” April 28-30, 2017 at the Lazy F UMC Camp near Ellensburg, Wa.  Have fun in a beautiful setting, learn new skills and meet the ERT community. UMCOR trained instructors will teach ERT Basic, Refresher and Advanced ERT classes.  

Beginning Friday evening, the Spring Training team will offer a full schedule of weekend classes.  Current ERT badge holders and those interested in refreshing their ERT badge will enjoy rotating through classes including Wildfire Relief, Spiritual Care, Safety Officer Training, plus a “Muck Out Deep Dive”.  A hands-on Chainsaw Training will also be available.  The Basic ERT Training will be held all day Saturday for those new to the program and include the Friday night and Sunday classes.  The trainings wrap up by Sunday noon.

ERT Spring Training registration is now closed.  Early registration through April 1 is $35 per person and includes the ERT Basic, Refresher or Advanced classes, two nights accommodations in a Lazy F bunkhouse, all meals Saturday plus Sunday breakfast and class training materials.  Registration April 2-20 is $45 then closes April 21. Anyone 18 years or older is welcome to attend.
