Ed Toben, former Chief Information Officer at Colgate-Palmolive (NYSE: CL) will provide an overview of Colgate’s analytics journey from conceptual discussions to tactical deployment to benefit realization.
Mr. Toben will discuss how Colgate’s analytics strategy was developed and technology was deployed to achieve worldwide benefits. Mr. Toben will provide executive-level insights into the lessons Colgate learned and how they apply to all enterprises seeking business transformation though the deployment of business analytics.
About the speaker: Ed Toben, VSB '70, Fordham MBA '73, was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Colgate-Palmolive for 20 years until his retirement. In this role he was accountable for the global deployment of a new SAP IT portfolio to over 100 countries as well as the development of business shared services throughout the world.
He has served on the IBM Customer Advisory Board, Transora Corporation Board of Directors and is currently on the SAP Independent Executive Advisory Council. Ed is married to Doreen Toben, Rosemont '71, former Chief Financial Officer of Verizon Corporation.
Most notably, Ed was sitting 10 rows behind the basket in Lexington KY on April 1, 1985.
