"Complying with U.S. Export Controls" - May 17-18, 2016, Tuesday - Wednesday

A two day program led by BIS' experienced team of export policy specialists, engineers. and enforcement personnel, as well as, regulators from the Department of Commerce.

The program will cover:

• The information exportes need ot know to comply with U.S. export control requirements on commercial goods, including items and activites that are subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR);
• Steps to take to determine the export licensing requirements for your item; how to determine your export control classification number (ECCN);
• When you can export or re-export without applying for a license
• Export clearance procedures and reccord keeping requirements
• Real life examples in applying this information.

The instructors will be available throughout the seminar to answer your questions on how the export regulations affect the export activities of your orgaization or client.

Cost for the Two-Day Program Only: $450 - per person

"Export Control Reform" - May 19, 2016, Thursday

A one Day Training course designe to provied in-depth exposure to core elements of the Export Control Reform (ECR) intiative. 

BIS' export policy specialists and engineers will provide training on key elements of ECR, including:

• Licensing requirements
• The definition of "specially designed"
• License exceptons (such as use of the Strategic Trade Authorization

The instructors will again be available throughout the seminar to answer your questions.

Cost for the One-Day Program Only: $190 - per person

Cost for the Combined Three-Day Program: $570.00 - Per person

Breakfast & Registration: starts at 7:30; Seminar: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (each day)
