NECWA naturalists and staff include Krill Carson, Leah Horeanopoulos, Tammy Silva, Michael O'Neill, Courtney Callahan and Dani Marston.

Travel aboard the Privateer, a 100’ commercial whale-watching vessel owned and operated by Seas Whale Watch. Seating is limited on our Ocean Exploration Cruises to ensure spacious seating arrangements and rail space.

Leave from the 7 Seas Wharf in Gloucester at 7:00 am sharp and return by 1 pm.

In Support of Marine Research: To support marine research offshore, we will collect data on all marine wildlife viewed from the vessel. We will also conduct a plankton tow and plankton demonstration, as well as chum for seabirds.

Free Nature Raffle: NECWA will once again offer our free onboard raffle for nature-themed gifts such as field guides, t-shirts, and bird feeders. If you would like to donate a gently used or new item to the raffle table, please provide it to NECWA staff when boarding.

Anyone who registers for this trip must sign and turn in a liability waiver prior to the day of the excursion. If you have not signed a waiver for NECWA this year, please click HERE to access the form.

Fundraising Event for NECWA
