As part of National Mentoring Month, the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence and its David and Molly Boren Mentoring Initiative are sponsoring the third annual Oklahoma Mentor Day at the Capitol on Thursday, Jan. 15. The goal of the event is to recognize outstanding volunteer mentors from all types of youth mentoring organizations around the state and to provide fun, educational activities for the honorees and their mentees to share. The schedule of events will include a continental breakfast, recognition ceremony, group photos, lunch and a variety of activities with an Old West theme.
