About the Gallery

Arts in the Village Gallery

Arts in the Village is a non-profit artists' cooperative gallery that is operated as a program of the Loudoun Arts Council and located at the Village At Leesburg. 


The gallery features a stylish atmosphere and sells handmade fine and functional artwork from over 25 of the area's most creative artists and craftspeople. The 2,100 sq ft gallery showcases work in a diversity of media and styles including: ceramics, collage, drawing, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, wood, painting, photography, and more. 

All artists are local and offer a wide variety of styles. With one-of-a-kind pieces as well as a selection of limited and open editions there is artwork available for any budget.  Your gallery purchase helps to support these local artists and encourage a thriving arts scene in our community.

Please join us for Arts in the Village Gallery's exclusive event for area interior designers, decorators, stagers, and art consultants.  You will spend an informative afternoon learning and networking with art experts and design industry professionals as well as hearing our talks and demonstrations. You will discover how you can work with original artwork to make your next project dynamic and unique.

1:00: Welcome and Orientation to the Gallery

1:30:  Lauren Hilyard 
Art Consultant and Owner of Hilyard Art Advisory
will talk about the current movement in the art world today and advise design professionals how to collect unique pieces and create their own individual trademark look.
2:00: Stephanie Pritchard
Interior Design Consultant and Owner of Cottages to Castles
will offer new and dynamic ways of creating visual impact using artwork on walls and in interesting spaces. She will demonstrate how inspiration can start with an original artifact in creating innovative design boards that work.
3:00: Karen Hutchison
Mixed Media Artist
will discuss the variety of artwork easily available to you, and how to commission or rent unique pieces tailored to your project needs.
3:30 Q&A Period and Meeting with artists, speakers and other attendees
Attendees are welcome to stay on past 4 pm if they desire, the gallery is open until 9 PM.
