The Stage Crew is a vital part of putting on the GJHP Musical! Legally Blonde crew members will be responsible for behind-the-scenes elements like running lights & sound, managing props, operating the curtain, helping with costumes, and changing set pieces during the show!
The crew program is led by Michal Palatnik and is open to Glencoe 6th-8th graders only. Space is very limited!
Crew will begin meeting on Monday, March 13 for two days a week for the first few weeks (March 13-23, Mon & Wed 3:30-5:30pm) and then move to three days a week after Spring Break (April 3-20, Mon, Wed & Thurs, 3:30-6/6:15pm).
Crew members are also asked to attend Weekend Tech/Cue-to-Cue Rehearsals on April 22 & 23 (Crew Times TBD), all Tech & Dress Rehearsals, April 24-26 (3:30pm-8pm, likely released earlier). We will also be scheduling a Carry-Up of building materials from storage on March 23, Set Strike & Carry-Down on May 1, and Costume Clean-Up on May 2. Family members of the crew are also needed to assist at Carry-Up, Strike / Carry-Down and the Costume Clean-Up.
Crew members are required to be at ALL performances April 27-30 (Crew Call Times TBD). This is important for consistency and safety!
