Zion-Bryce-Snow Canyon Photo Tour 2022

April 3-8, 2022  •  Starting in St. George, UT

Join pro photographer and instructor Joe Brady on this Photo Tour Adventure in Southwest Utah. We’ll explore popular spots but also have some time to shoot in less visited places that offer amazing photography. Joe has photographed this region many times over the past fifteen years and knows the best times and places to get great images.

We’ll meet in St. George, UT on Sunday early afternoon and spend the rest of the day in beautiful Snow Canyon State Park. This wonderful space is well known to the locals, but ignored by tourists. Snow Canyon features colorful rock formations, mountains, lava deposits and much more. 

We spend Sunday night in Springdale, UT - the entry to Zion National Park. This is one of the best times to visit Zion as the crowds haven’t arrived yet and the weather is comfortable. In the morning we head up the canyon to the Riverwalk Trail and photograph the sites along the way. After lunch we’ll head to the eastern side of the park where we can hike the Overlook Trail for some great shots looking down into the grand valley below. We'll spend Monday night again in Springdale, UT.

We’ll drive to Bryce Canyon Tuesday morning and will make a stop at Red Canyon on the way.  As we enter Bryce this afternoon, we’ll photograph sunset at the famous Sunset Point. We overnight in Bryce for Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Wednesday morning we’ll shoot sunrise and then we’ll head through the park to visit many of the iconic views. We’ll take an early afternoon break and then meet again to do a little bit of hiking around Sunrise point before we get anther shot at a beautiful sunset.

On Thursday morning we’ll pick a sunrise spot and then head over to the Mossy Cave section of Bryce Canyon. This spot offers some very different views and is not frequently visited - all the better to capture some great shots. We'll then head back through Zion for a Thursday night stay in Springdale. On Friday morning we'll go out shooting until it's time to head out.

All this for only $1895 tuition. Lodging, transportation and meals are not included, but we'll make arrangements for our group at area hotels. We'll let you know how to register for our Group Rates.
