2016 Bud's Trail Run

Lake Villa Township 5K Run/Walk 10K Run is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of running a wooded trail and provides not-for-profit organizations an opportunity to raise needed funds to support their activities.

NEW THIS YEAR: A $5.00 donation will be made to a not-for-profit organization for each race paticipant. All registrations are $20.00. When you register, you will select the local not-for-profit from a list.

The race is held on Saturday, September 10 at the Lake Villa Township Caboose Park and runs through Grant Woods Forest Preserve. It includes a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Run on crushed-gravel trails at Grant Woods, one of the largest forest preserves in Lake County, which traverse wide-open prairies, quiet woodlands, and marshes teeming with wildlife.

T-shirts are available to purchase for $10 if ordered online by August 27.
