2014 Lake Villa Township 5K 

Lake Villa Township 5K Run/Walk 10K Run (Bud's Run) is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of running a wooded trail and provides many of the local not-for-profit organizations an opportunity to raise needed funds to support their activities.

The race is held on Saturday, September 13 at the Lake Villa Township Caboose Park and runs through Grant Woods Forest Preserve. It includes a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Run on crushed-gravel trails at Grant Woods, one of the largest forest preserves in Lake County, which traverse wide-open prairies, quiet woodlands, and marshes teeming with wildlife.

Onsite Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
Race begins at 9:00 a.m.
Pre-registration online is recommended ($5 Late fee for registrations after September 9). T-shirts are available to purchase for $8 while supply lasts. Note: If you pay by check, T-shirts will be reserved when the check is successfully deposited in the race account.
