SEAT PLEASANT CITY CENTER GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY  

Seat Pleasant is one of Prince George’s County, Maryland’s 27 municipalities. Buttress to the Nation’s Capital, Seat Pleasant: A City of Excellence is a "gateway" community to the state of Maryland and within the largest concentration of African-American wealth per capita in the United States. The Groundbreaking Ceremony provides the city an opportunity to showcase the uniqueness of this distributed, integrated, renewable, sustainable, power generation development.

 WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THE EVENT?

This historic event will attract some of the region’s most influential political, business and social leaders to witness the groundbreaking for this highly anticipated multimillion dollar "green" infrastructure project. This event will also launch the cities "going green" initiative and will have demonstrations promoting a more harmonious relationship with nature. Additionally, an afternoon concert is planned featuring "A" list performers.
