DWI/Traffic Safety Conference and DRE Recertification Training
The 2012 DWI/Traffic Safety Conference and DRE Recertification Training will be held from June 6-8 at Tan-Tar-A Resort. This annual event is open to prosecutors, law enforcement officers and other highway safety advocates and focuses on impaired driving and other traffic safety issues. This year the conference will include sessions on: law enforcement phlebotomy, electronic search warrants, working with hospitals on blood draws, and traffic stops and vehicle searches. The conference will combine general interest sessions and breakout sessions targeted to drug recognition experts, prosecutors, and non-DRE law enforcement officers. The conference will offer approximately 14 hours of CLE and POST credit.
Please note that the registration fee for this conference is $100. The registration fee may be paid at the door or may be paid in advance by mailing a check. If you will be sending one check for multiple attendees, please indicate the names of the attendees. Checks can be mailed to:

A block of rooms has been reserved at Tan-Tar-A for the nights of Wednesday, June 6, and Thursday, June 7. Attendees are responsible for the cost of their own hotel rooms. The room rate is $73.13 per night inclusive of lodging tax. The cut-off date for making reservations is Tuesday, May 15, 2012. You may make reservations by calling 573-348-3131. Be sure to mention that you will be attending the conference sponsored by the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services in order to secure the room rate.
