Invitation to:   Instructors' Seminar 2015

Where:            Cody Martial Arts Academy, 502 Ray Rd, Cody, WY 82414

Who:               Students and Black Belts, all ranks, and who are at least 14 years of age

Cost:                $40 per person                    

                         ($35 for members of Voorhees Taekwondo-affiliated clubs)

 

Deadline:         All applications must be done online no later than Saturday, May 23, 3015.

 ***Late applications, paper applications, and at-the-door applications can not be accepted. ***

Capacity:      This seminar is limited to the first 75 people who register.

1)      Instructor Seminar sessions will include:

a)      Teaching styles for PeeWees, children and adult learners, and "Alternative All-stars"

b)      How to build “lesson plans” and focused instructional models

c)      How to teach and practice forms including philosophy and application, plus the new KKW/WTF standardizations

d)      One-Step Sparring, Three-Step Sparring and Advanced Self-Defense

e)       Pressure Points and In-fighting

f)        Intro to Escrima

g)      Intro to Ki Energy

h)      Foundations of Mastery Learning

li      Learning Styles and Behavioral/Leadership Styles inventories, how to recognize and instruct them.

2)      Cost

a)      $40 per person. This includes:

i)       All classes

ii)      Lunch

iii)    All seminar materials

Please note: 

1. Special dietary needs are the participant’s responsibility. We will send an email to all registered participants approximately 1 week before the Seminar, describing how lunch will be provided. If there are special dietary needs or concerns, they need to be addressed at that time.

There will be plenty of opportunities for sharing and exchanging ideas as well as fun and fellowship. Participants should plan on spending a full day (8:30 AM - 6:00 PM) exploring and expanding their leadership and instructing abilities.
