Balancing Your Nonprofit:
Setting Strategy and Operations for Success

About the topic:  Nonprofit is a tax status NOT a business model! Are you focused on generating profits or simply focused on cost recovery? In this session you will have the opportunity to creatively think about you, your leadership team, and your organization’s needs…and let’s not forget about your funders! We will explore how to keep “in balance” while keeping all of those plates spinning at once. You will:

•    Identify the four basic functional requirements for a well-balanced operation
•    Recognize the characteristics required for building high performance
•    Discover how to audit and assess your organization balance using a quantitative and qualitative analysis tool
•    Begin your new road map launch

The ultimate goal of this session is to assist you in developing a road map for successfully incorporating the planning and management required for long term financial success. Join Us!

About the speaker:  Jeanne Boyer Roy joined Harvest Development Group in January of 2014, after a 20+ career as a highly successful and versatile business development executive with proven experience in consultative sales and client relationship management within the nonprofit and for profit sectors. She brings a keen focus on strategic planning for new initiatives or startups while setting realistic goals. Jeanne is passionate about collaborative team building and cross-functional leadership. In addition, Jeanne was responsible for creating the vision for the Advancement Program and securing the School’s first $500,000 donation. Prior to transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Jeanne had a successful sales and marketing career in the Information Technology and Services Industry serving Fortune 500 clients.
