Childhood Bereavement: Grief and Recovery
Presented by: Dr. Corinne Masur
Dr. Corinne Masur will explore how children and adolescents understand and react to death. A movie clip will be used to begin the conversation on children's reactions to loss, and attendees will then discuss how children of various ages process death - including the loss of a beloved pet.

She particularly enjoys treating young children and their parents. She is on the faculty of the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia and has written, taught, and lectured on the subjects of early childhood bereavement, child development, childhood psychopathology, and mortality.
