Join us for this collaboration between PCOP and PSPP (Phila. Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology): a case presentation and open discussion on the analysis of a 4-year-old child who experienced medical trauma that will explore both relational and contemporary classical psychoanalytic frameworks for working with young children. Participating clinicians, residents, and graduate students will gain practical insight into the impact of various types of childhood trauma on lifelong development. They will also learn specific psychoanalytic techniques for working with children who have experienced early trauma.
