Middle School and High School Theatre Educators,

Are you still feeling overwhelmed creating new teaching methods in the age of COVID for your students?

Are you seeking additional support but are feeling “zoomed out” from online tips and tricks discussions and theoretical how-to lectures?

WE'RE HERE TO HELP!

Join us for three unique online immersive professional development workshops where we’ll equip you
with lessons and activities to utilize, regardless of where you find yourself teaching:

  • Making Shakespeare Accessible Led by Beth Wolf

  • Games & Activities to Keep them Engaged Led by Jamie Macpherson

  • Process Theatre in a Virtual Classroom! Led by Elisabeth Westphal

Get to know more about the Workshops and our Workshop Leaders here.

No need to wonder how these lessons will work in a virtual classroom because you’ll experience them first-hand as session leaders guide participants through simulated demonstrations as students! Following each simulation, you’re invited to innovate with fellow participants by exploring how you envision customizing the lesson for your students.

Leave the sessions empowered to implement with your toolbox full of:

  • Lessons and activities to make your own

  • New teaching methods and styles borrowed from session leader simulations

  • Ideas and insights from innovation discussions

 Additional Bonus:
Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) are available for Illinois teachers
(
Letters of Participation upon request for non-IL participants who can receive PD credit in their home state)

Additional Bonus for ITA members Only:
