SCORE Boston Workshop: Starting Your Own Specialty Food Business

Many of us love to cook, but developing and growing a food business requires a lot more than culinary skills.  This workshop will help you consider the many factors that go into a successful food business, and will acquaint you with some of the valuable resources in Massachuseetts that are available for  manufacturing, packaging and selling specialty food products.

It is suggested that workshop participants use public transportation to the Harvard Ed Portal. MBTA busses 66, 86, and 70 are available from Harvard Square or Central Square.

This workshop is co-sponsored by SCORE Boston and the Harvard Ed Portal.  It will be presented by Fred DeFinis and Roz Freeman.  Fred DeFinis  is an experienced small business owner, advocate, and mentor with extensive expereince in business development.  Roz Freeeman is Entrepreneurship Program Manager at Commonwealth Kitchens, an organization that provides training and shared-facilities for local food start-ups.

Spread the word and register for other amazing workshops!
