Sixth District PTA Fall Leadership Training 

Sixth District PTA presents Fall Leadership Training on Saturday, August 23 at the Santa Clara County Office of Education (1290 Ridder Park Dr., San Jose 95131).  

Your morning includes breakfast, two workshops, class materials & fun for a $10 registration fee. Please see the full Fall Leadership Training schedule, workshop descriptions & details on the Sixth District website: www.capta6.org/training.  Register online until August 21; after August 21, please register at the door.

Our schedule for the day is as follows:

• 8:00am - 8:45am:  Registration, PTA Store, and Breakfast
• 8:45am - 9:00am:  Welcome, Opening Comments & Logistics ~ Wendy Akers-Ghose, Sixth District PTA President
• 9:00am - 9:15am:  Break
• 9:15am - 10:45am:  Workshop #1 (choose from President, Treasurer, How to Audit PTA Books, Historian, Parliamentarian Bylaws, Membership Basics, Developing PTA Leaders, PTA Advocacy:  Rock the Role!, or Fundraising Fundamentals)
• 10:45am - 11:00am:  Break
• 11:00am - 12:30pm:  Workshop #2 (choose from President, Treasurer, Advanced Treasurer Topics & PTA EZ Overview, Secretary's Guide, Parliamentarian Nominations, Elections & Meeting Procedures, Advanced Membership Tools & Topics, Inspiring & Motivating Volunteers, PTA Advocacy: CA Education Funding, or Offer Reflections at Your School).  
• 12:30pm - 1:00pm:  PTA Store

Walk-in registration is welcome, but workshop materials are not guaranteed.  You may prepay your registration fee through PayPal, mail a check payable to Sixth District PTA (c/o Linda Pfeifer 1630 Quail Ave., Sunnyvale 94087), or pay at the door (cash, check or credit cards accepted).   Scholarships are available; email leadership@capta6.org.  Registered and unpaid no-shows will receive an invoice for the unpaid registration fee.
