Succession in  Usui Shiki Ryoho

 Preparing the Master Community

February 25 - March 1, 2015

Kenyon Ranch, Tubac Arizona

What is the call?

The “How” of succession might not be known until the death of the current lineage bearer.  Whatever happens, the Master Body would be wise to prepare, to listen to the voice of the system, to set aside personal issues and opinions, and to work as a spiritual team with eyes on the future of Reiki.

There are three levels of work/perspective that masters are able to cultivate and maintain.  Individual mastery, mentoring of Reiki students and the community that they form, and active stewardship of the living entity of Usui Shiki Ryoho.

This is the fourth such Weekend since November of 2013.  Each Master group has embraced the concepts of regeneration as a way forward into the kind of community that will serve the system in generations to come.  The concept of regeneration holds that each generation creates a more fertile and viable context for the production of service, food, or nourishment within the living entity of the earth.  In this case, within the living entity of the system, Usui Shiki Ryoho.

Phyllis Furumoto, Paul Mitchell, and Ben Haggard will serve as facilitators and resources for the group of masters exploring the function of the Spiritual Lineage and the concept of Succession in this practice.  In addition, the group will explore the impact within the global community of Reiki.

Who can attend?

Masters of Usui Shiki Ryoho who are interested in this topic are invited to this event.  The content will be different from the first three, so those who wish to come and take another step in the preparation are able to do so as well as those masters just stepping into the conversation.

Where are we meeting?

We are meeting at the beautiful Kenyon Ranch near Tubac, AZ, a location that serves the Reiki community with its quiet desert setting, wonderful food, and restful scenery.
