 Self-drive - Saturday, April 22, 2023 - 5 to 9 pm

 

A Long and Winding Road: A Beatles Retrospective with strings, horns and a rock band - the CAS will unwind you!

Enjoy a buffet meal in the dining room overlooking the beauty of the country club.The concert takes place at the Experimental EAA Chapter 38 Museum in Racine. Here the Choral Arts Society will present a program featuring the rich and diversely-orchestrated songs of the popular duo, Lennon and McCartney. Local legends Mark Paffrath and Marvin Dykhuis will lead the way recreating the memorable songs of the 1960’s.  Before the concert browse the museum’s collection of airplanes and aviation memorabilia.

Meadowbrook – Choral Arts Society Schedule

4:45 pm: Self-drive to Meadowbrook Country Club, 2149 N. Green Bay Road, Mt. Pleasant, WI 53405. Find Connie and Tricia at the entrance.

5 – 6:30 pm: Enjoy the buffet in the dining room. Meadowbrook Buffet: Mandarin Orange Cashew Salad, Dinner Rolls. Pan Roasted Chicken Marsala, Herb Crusted Whitefish, Twice Baked Potatoes, Green Bean Almandine, Wild Rice.  Dessert: Chocolate Mousse.  Beverages: Lemonade, iced tea, coffee (regular or decaffeinated).  Cash Bar is available.

6:30 pm: Self-drive (5 min/2-miles) to Experimental EAA Chapter 38 Museum (Batten Field Airport), 333 N. Green Bay Rd, Racine, WI 53404. Airport entrance and parking directions included in reminder email. Find Connie and Tricia at the entrance.

7 - 9 pm: Enjoy the CAS performance of A Long and Winding Road.

If you pay by credit card, your credit card will be refunded. (Minus the $5 cancelation fee)

If you pay by check you will be issued a university refund check.
