Chosen as the best play of the year (2005) by over 10 newspapers and magazines, Doubt, by playwright
John Patrick Shanley, is set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, where a strong-minded woman wrestles with conscience and uncertainty as she is faced with concerns about one of her male colleagues. This Pulitzer-prize winning play dramatizes issues straight from today’s headlines within a world re-created with knowing detail and a judicious eye.
Join ALL to see Doubt at the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre. Once again, Don Cress has generously donated a block of tickets to us. We will be having an early dinner after the play at Coquette Café in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward.
