WTS-Sacramento March Program:

The Foresthill Road Bridge Seismic Retrofit and Paint Project

Please join us on Thursday, March 29 for a presentation about the Foresthill Road Bridge Seismic Retrofit and Paint Project, followed by a tour at the site.

Standing an impressive 730 feet above the North Fork of the American River, the Foresthill Road Bridge is the tallest in California.  The bridge is currently undergoing an important seismic retrofit and a complete repainting of the structure.  This program will offer the opportunity to not only hear from the project team about the unique challenges and solutions encountered during design and construction, but to also get an up-close look at the ongoing work.
