Join us for a very special MPC meeting at the Google offices in the heart of Cambridge's tech center for a night of exclusive presentations, networking, & updates from the field.

On the agenda..

The Future of Video with Google

TV Meets Web. Web Meets TV. Rachel Sterling, Manager of Google's Online Media Sales team will offer an insider's look at the future of the video industry as the number of screens in which viewers consume media extends beyond your living room TV set. Topics will include new video platforms such as Google TV, the proliferation of online video sites such as YouTube, and how networks and agencies are adjusting their approach to buying, selling and measuring media. Finally, we'll open up the floor to a discussion on how the production community plans to evolve content to capture viewership across all mediums.

Making MA The Spot for Commercials

We are very excited to present submissions from this competition and announce a winning creative team for a first-of-its-kind Massachusetts marketing campaign. The campaign is designed to increase advertising and commercial production to the state...and create more jobs and opportunities for members of the MA production community. Partners in the initiative will produce the creative piece that best sells the benefits of producing in Massachusetts and lure new productions to the Commonwealth.

Member Showcase - Just Announced!

Rob DelGaudio will show a preview from "Please Remove Your Shoes - The Myth of US Airport Security." A feature length doc that examines our airport security pre and post 9/11.

James Demo will screen a piece from "The Kosovo Kiss." A film exploring the tensions between ethnic Serbs and Albanians in the city of Mitrovica, and a story of protest on a day of dueling elections.
