Presented by MODC's Energy & Environment Committee
Climate Change is one of the biggest, and most controversial, environmental issues of our time. Winter storm Jonas reminded us that we still have work to do to increase New Jersey's Coastal Resiliency. Mr. Gaffney is Hatch Mott MacDonald's Coastal Practice Leader for the Northeast U.S. and a Diplomate of Coastal Engineering. His presentation will touch on some of the lessons learned from recent storms, and set the stage for a Coastal Resilience Symposium that MODC will be co-hosting in March. Luncheon attendees will learn about advancements in Climate Change Adaptation as they relate to increasing the resilience of our coastal communities, and will gain a better understanding of the impact of this issue on all of us.
