The conference will begin with a cocktail reception on Thursday evening, October 11th, at the East Lake Golf Club, the home course of legendary golfer Bobby Jones and the oldest golf course in Atlanta. Golf will be available at East Lake on the afternoon of October 11th, beginning at noon.

On Friday morning Deputy Solicitor Michael Dreeben will present the annual review of the United States Supreme Court term which ended in June. He will be followed by a two hour panel discussion on corporate internal investigations, moderated by NAFUSA President Elect Jay Stephens, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Raytheon Company. Friday’s luncheon will be held at the Carter Center, with remarks by Paul Fishman, Chair, AGAC.

Saturday's meeting will feature the "State of the Department" with Marshall Jarrett, Director of EOUSA; the presentation of the J. Michael Bradford Award to the AUSA of the year; an ethics presentation by Rory Little, Professor of Law at U.C. Hastings; and a two hour panel on immigration issues moderated by Charlie Savage of The New York Times.

The conference will close with a Saturday evening banquet and meeting. It will feature W.J. Michael Cody as the keynote speaker. King at the Mountain Top: The Representation of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memphis, April 3-4, 1968 will describe the last two days of Dr. King's as Cody was one of six lawyers providing legal representation for Dr. King in the federal court hearing as the City of Memphis attempted to prevent the march in support of the sanitation workers.  

 

 Registration fee of $400.00 INCLUDES Thursday Cocktail Reception, Friday and Saturday Continental Breakfast and CLE Programs, Friday afternoon luncheon at The Carter Center, and Saturday Reception and Dinner at the W Hotel.
