I am humbled by the by the support that people have shown the It Takes A Community Foundation (ITAC). We’re excited to be celebrating the 5th Anniversary of this tournament! It has grown into one of our largest fundraisers. Ask anybody that has participated, and they’ll tell you that this is not your average golf tournament.
The event has grown every year for the past four years, and I’m always overwhelmed by the generosity and that has helped make this tournament a success. We’ve raised nearly $450,000! The foundation has deployed those funds to well deserving community organizations that strengthen, enrich and preserve the lives of children and families.
ITAC works with local leaders and organizations that have firsthand knowledge of the needs in their area. 100% of the proceeds from the 2016 Aaron Lewis Invitational will benefit ITAC. This year, the proceeds will be divided among several incredible organizations that improve and support the lives children and families. ITAC will divide the 2016 proceeds among:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Franklin County
- Greenfield Education Foundation
- Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) - Good Grief Camp Program
The founding principle of ITAC is that, “It takes a community to sustain a community.” This fundraiser is a way to put that concept into meaningful action.
